About
We are planning a free Solidarity Pride Hub in July 2026 for anyone who wants a community-led Pride event in solidarity with Palestine and all oppressed people.
This event is focused on community solidarity, furthering mutual aid networks, and queer and Palestinian liberation. We can commit to not accepting funding from any corporations complicit in genocide, to buying anything needed from BDS-compliant companies, and to prioritising mutual aid in our organising.
We are trans-led and anti-corporate. We intend to provide space for local groups involved in queer liberation, Palestinian liberation, disability justice, anti-racist work, and sexual liberation to talk about what they're doing, what they have on, and catch up with each other. We hope to provide activities, talks, and workshops from local orgs and people involved in liberation for queer people in and visiting Glasgow to enjoy, learn from, and find new local independent companies and creators to support.
For us, community-led means we'll be transparent about our process, we'll provide you with accessibility information, we'll listen to feedback, and make an effort to include and promote community orgs doing work by and for marginalised groups. We'll fundraise through our communities, tell you where any funding comes from, and any surplus funding will go towards the sustainability and accessibility of the event.
