GlycemicGPT is an open source diabetes management platform that does what your endo does between appointments — and what no one does at 3am. 

It connects your CGM and insulin pump to an AI analysis engine that watches your patterns, flags what's going wrong, and helps you make better decisions. Daily briefs, meal analysis, trend recognition, conversational AI chat backed by clinical diabetes knowledge, and a smart watchdog alerting system that catches problems early — before they become emergencies. 

Predictive alerts, configurable thresholds, caregiver escalation, and multi-channel delivery so the right person knows at the right time. 

It helped its creator regain control while waiting months to be seen, and it's built so no one else has to fly blind in that gap. 

The platform is self-hosted, privacy-first, and BYOAI — you bring your own AI provider, you own your data, and you're never locked into a single vendor. Run it fully local with Ollama or connect to Claude, OpenAI, or any compatible endpoint. Currently supports Dexcom G7 and Tandem t:slim X2/Mobi, with companion Android and Wear OS apps and a plugin SDK for community device drivers.
