As we approach winter, we just wanted to share a thanks to all of our backers and requesters for continuing to help grow this fund and keep us running.

As temperatures will begin to drop but energy bills remain extremely high, the fund will be important to help combat extortionate fuel prices and the cost of living crisis. Whilst we can’t solve this through HHSF alone, we can support each other as much as possible.

Open Collective has recently started to require card verification for recurring payments to be made. If you are a regular backer and have received an email titled 'Action required: Verify your credit card to continue supporting Herne Hill Solidarity Fund on Open Collective', please do make sure you complete the verification process, otherwise your payments will no longer be made.

We are still working with more requests than we have funds, meaning there is a delay on people receiving the support they need. Any contributions to the fund are greatly appreciated in helping maintain our support network.

As always, please keep telling your neighbours and friends in SE24 about the fund, if they are able to financially contribute to it, or if they need to access it.
