HMC Solidarity is a mutual aid fund started by students at Harvey Mudd College to provide vital, timely assistance to our peers impacted by the pandemic.
Current Status: We're currently finishing up gathering data on an interest form that we sent out to the school community, and early estimates indicate that we'll need to raise between $15,000-25,000 to meet the needs of students facing financial uncertainty.
We have collected over $500 through venmo so far with relatively little marketing, and are currently looking for a fiscal host on opencollective so that we can have a legitimate avenue to ramp up fundraising.
