Double Your Impact: Help Hylo Build a Thriving Future
Contribute to our year-end fundraising campaign and your donation will be matched!
This year, Hylo has made incredible strides in bringing purpose-driven communities together, enabling collective action for the regeneration of our world. From bioregional stewardship initiatives to global communities of practice, we’ve supported thousands of changemakers in building a future that works for all life.
Your Donation, Doubled!
Now, we need your help to continue this mission. From now until the end of the year, your donation will go twice as far! Thanks to a generous matching grant from a member of the Hylo community, Kevin Triplett, every dollar you contribute will be doubled.
Your support will help us:
- Expand our platform to serve more communities working for regenerative change
- Develop new tools that foster cooperation and collaboration
- Grow our reach to connect more leaders in regeneration and climate action, community resilience and adaptation, solidarity economies, and so much more
Together, we can build the infrastructure for a thriving, interconnected world. Your contribution is an investment in a future where people and planet flourish.
Donate today and double your impact!
Hylo is a fiscally sponsored project of Empowerment Works, a 501c3 non-profit, so your donation is fully tax deductible. This means you may also be able to use your corporate matching grant funds for this donation!

A Note from Kevin
Here is a personal note from Kevin, an open-source code contributor to Hylo and the sponsor of the match:
My personal desire is to bring more people into the decision making process, especially for decisions that affect them. Like the next experiment in democracy that doesn't require "burning the system down". To that end, I recognize that cohering community, such that people are less divided and able to see the multiplicity of perspectives, is needed. If we can't do that, we're "hooped".

I'm an electrical / software engineer, amateur philosopher, documentary filmmaker, connector / weaver, and community builder both online and locally. I've retired with some cash in the bank and want to spend a little of it to demonstrate that I believe in Hylo.
Hylo has a chance to become one of the best online platforms where crews and entire communities can coordinate and collaborate on action in issues, locations, and bioregions they care about. The platform has a test suite, a must in my eyes, and a committed circle of stewards who take their mission seriously. I've met most everyone in the dev circle and I trust them, and they've trusted me to welcome me into their circle.
As part of that trust, I pledge $100K in matching funds without attached strings or expected outcomes. Of course, being on the dev team does allow me to suggest features that I feel will suit large communities.
One such community is Emergent Commons, about 900 members of whom 125 are active and about 45 are very active. We're a "sensemaking community" who's purpose is to engage collectively while respectfully holding our diverse perspectives. We're consistently above engagement targets for Mighty Network communities, which is where we're hosted. I'm hoping to migrate EC from MN to Hylo by helping build new features that can support this diverse community, with its commons, crews, and volunteer teams. Features like community-moderated text forums, regional gatherings, and liquid democracy.
I'm looking forward to seeing what we can build, together!

We are truly honored to have Kevin on our dev team and grateful to receive his vote of confidence and support for the journey ahead. With his generous matching offer, now is the best time to make a year-end, tax deductible (US) gift to Hylo.
Thank you for being part of the movement.
