Church of Interbeing Ritual Dance

Dear Interbeings & Friends,

We joyfully invite you for an evening of ritual through dance on Sunday, May 19th, from 7pm to 11pm, where we will gather to explore the theme of Inspiration, on the auspicious day of the Pentecost.

Our evening begins with myth and mystery, drawing us in to connect to a collective story, finding our way into synchronised movement, and inviting spirit to flow through us, opening to free dance.

Together we are creating a sacred space in which prayer, revelation, expression, contemplation, movement and meditation can be simultaneous and welcomed - expanding beyond the individual and emerging as one Interbeing, an intrinsically interconnected whole.

We invite the Interbeing Community to revive dance as ritual, exploring the myriad ways that we can harness the power of: loving collective intention, energised bodies and deeper community connections.

Humanity is steeped in ceremony & ritual; from celebratory dances at weddings, to warriors dancing to invigorate themselves before battle, all the way to indigenous communities and cultures calling in the elements to nourish & protect their harvests… Some danced for rain, others sang for sunshine and we too will meet as many bodies, and one Interbeing.

Ritual Dance means devotional movement, embodied co-creation and heartful communing - and this evening will be a journey. When we dance as a connected collective, our harmonised bodies become instruments of change and amplifiers of intention that can energise the community, nourish ourselves and touch the world.
