I am welcoming input and support to run the Isle of Wight Mastodon infrastructure. The setup isn't a single server, there is redundancy, managed storage and more on the roadmap as things expand. Doing this costs money which I'm currently funding.
A basic overall view of rough costs are:
AWS S3 media storage
VPS servers
Domains and DNS hosting
Email system Hosting
At present these costs are around £120pm
