2021 JULIAN Update

2021 has been a great year for JULIAN. Funding from NBA champion Jrue Holiday and the People's Advocacy Institute allowed us to keep operating.
Some of our key milestones from this year include winning a civil judgment in the 2018 lynching of Willie Andrew Jones Jr. We also launched investigations into the lynchings of Raynard Johnson and Nick Naylor, which are ongoing. The Washington Post publishing two features on JULIAN's work in its Sunday edition. JULIAN's work was also featured on MSNBC, the Tavis Smiley Show, ABC, and the Associated Press. We also secured backing from the Ford Foundation and other major donors.
In 2022, we will focus on bringing these and other cases to a final resolution that is positive and beneficial for the victims' families. We'll also develop technology that will change the way people engage with civil rights as we know it.
