Kanacourse

Kanacourse is a no-bullshit Japanese learning resource. Created as the culmination of many learning resources and tools for aspiring Nippophones.

Currently Kanacourse is still in early development, but is being actively maintained.

Kanacourse itself is created with Angular and TypeScript, with the intentions to move to a Java based backend, using REST endpoints to interact with the application's persistent store.

The tool itself will offer a range of resources, including flash cards, speaking activities and memory games. The long term roadmap will also include the inclusion of a separate section for advanced reading and Kanji study.

Currently the project uses Heroku for hosting the application, G-Suite for business; for business related and project related email management, Cloudflare as the DNS resolver and reverse proxy for Heroku; and Namecheap for domain hosting and management.
