KAP: Gaza (General Fund)

The idea of the project started in March 2024 and has evolved since.  Originally it was a partnership between mothers and fathers that trying to provide for the children in the community, soon the needs in the Gaza started to increase and it was decided to properly stablish a project and try to provide, food, water, clothing and baby essentials.

Where:
Until January 2025 we were operating in four main locations via three ground coordinators: Deir Al Balah,  Khan Younis, Zawaida and Mawasi. When possible we also try to support Jabalia and Beit Lahia via a sister project (Vein to Vein). With the temporary ceasefire in early 2025  the project followed the ground coordinators steps and efforts were focused in Gaza City.
New displacement hit in September (so back south) and hope again in October (so back north).
In conclusion, we remain guided by our collaborators on the ground. Ultimately, they are the eyes, hands, and heart of the project

How:
The money is raised via one of our sources of income (fundraiser, memberships, album sales and 2nd hand items in charity markets) and received by our coordinators in the ground.  They are all independent collaborators that source & distribute the goods and document the actions.

Clean drinking Water : Delivering since April 2024, over 200,000L of clean drinking water distributed.
Food Aid: Contributing thorough the group Save Gaza (*) to a to a shared community  kitchen in Zawaida.
Distributing hot meals to the orphans in the Al-Bakarha (1, 2 and 3) in Mawasi - Khan Younis and Deir Al-Balah and Gaza City. Helping to buy flour and rice in north and south.
Baby Milk, nappies and clothing.  Several Baby appeals actions delivering baby milk and nappies in Deir Al-Balah, Jabalia and Zawaida, and clothing and shoes in Gaza City.
