Keffiyeh Aid Project is a UK - Gaza Project aiming to provide  to distribute essential necessities (food, water, clothing, baby milk and nappies, etc.) along the Gaza strip. 

The idea of the project started in March 2024 and has evolved since.  Originally it was a partnership between mothers and fathers that trying to provide for the children in the community, soon the needs in the Gaza started to increase and it was decided to properly stablish a project and try to provide, food, water, clothing and baby essentials. 

Where: 
Until just after the cease Fire we were operating in in four main locations via 3 coordinators: Deir Al Balah, Hamad – Khan Younis,  Zawaida and Mawasi – Khan Younis. When possible we also try to support Jabalia and Beit Lahia via a sister project (Vein to Vein).
Since the displaced  families have been allowed to return to the north the project has followed the ground coordinators and is more focused in Gaza City. 

How:

the money is raised via one of our sources of income (fundraiser, memberships and shop) and received by our coordinators in the ground.  They are all independent collaborators that source & distribute the goods and document the actions.

(*) In addition to the project staff we collaborate with a youth initiative called Save Gaza. 

Our next steps are 
 - To reassess the needs of the people in Gaza after the ceasefire and keep providing whatever is needed for the rebuilt of their homes and lives. 
 - To increase out funding through the expansion of our Shop (100% non profit)  in the UK. We are aiming to be financially independent and for that the shop plays a key role. We are looking for collaborations with UK business with a venue that would be interested in physically hosting our products to increase visibility.  /www.keffiyehaidprojectcharityshop.com
