We are very happy to share that, thanks to your contributions this week, we have raised enough funds to help to the reconstruction of the damaged parts of the desalination plant of Sultan’s in Gaza city which was affected during a recent attack.
The plant is a key part of our work, and being able to help restore it means we can continue providing clean water to displaced families - one of the very few sustainable lifelines that remain within Gaza.
We will continue working closely with the plant and our partners on the ground to ensure the water keeps flowing consistently.
I also take this opportunity to highlight that with your donations you are not only providing clean drinking water to the full neighbourhood of Al-Rimal but also giving employment to nine families.
Your donations are providing more than water, they are providing dignity.
