Korero Ngawari

I am a counsellor that offers support through a contract with the grief centre as well as private practice. I also work  for an advocacy agency for adults with pecial needs called The Personal Advocacy and Safe guarding Adults Trust or PASAT.

As well as this mahi, I want to offer an advocacy service for people who struggle with utilising New Zealand government support agencies such as ACC and WINZ.

Having personally experienced applying to have a sensitive claim covered by ACC and having utilised WINZ since the age of 16 (I am now 39) I want to be able to offer my skills and knowledge to others.

I would meet with them firstly for free to ascertain what their level of need is.
From there, I would work out how much work would be needed to get to a point where we can reach a resolution that helps them move their life in the way that they wish.

I have a strong desire to help people but I also need to to be able to support myself as I do so.
