About
HASTA LUEGO!!!
Dear Community,
As of June 2026, we will stop operating Kula Yoga ABQ. It's been a real pleasure and an honor to serve the immigrant and refugee community of Albuquerque. For the last 4 years we have been able to serve more than 200 immigrants, refugees and community organizers working for healing among the most vulnerable.
We continue to be committed to creating a better world, where healing, justice and restoration are centered. Because of that commitment, both of us are moving on to new projects and new places, and part of this process of evolution means that we are no longer able to sustain and nurture this lovely community. This is just an hasta luego (see you soon)!
Alejandra will continue her Yoga and healing practice in Albuquerque through her individual practice: Soma Raiz Healing and Art Collective.
Fiore is moving to Washington DC to pursue a legal degree and work as an attorney in social justice and human rights issues, while continuing her individual practice and collaboration with organizations serving the immigrant community.
With love and gratitude,
Kula Yoga ABQ

We are a collective of Immigrant and refugee Yoga facilitators and social justice advocates, based in unceded Tiwa territories, and native to Mesoamerican lands (Mexica, Maya, Nahuatl, Nahua, Nicarao).
Our mission is to offer accessible bilingual yoga spaces (Spanish and English) that are affordable, trauma-informed and culturally sensitive, and are specially tailored to and with immigrant and refugee communities. By doing this, we aim to promote physical and mental well-being, and to reclaim the right to heal, rest, and reclaim equitable access to support our communities social justice and liberation efforts.
We envision thriving immigrant, refugee, multicultural and multilingual communities, who have access to justice, equity, health, rest, and joy.
