Laila Islam

Laila Islam is a curator and multidisciplinary artist in Philadelphia. A recent graduate of Moore College of Art and Design with a BFA in Curatorial Studies, Islam identifies as a curator committed to artistic community engagement and Radical Healing. They define Radical Healing as a practice that provides communities who experience systemic harm safe spaces to exist and think outside of their oppressive environments, allowing them to combat said circumstances through communal care. This goal is realized through The Future Is Us Group Residency.
