OpenCutList 6.0.0 is out!
Published on February 21, 2024 by Martin Mueller

OpenCutList version 6.0.0 has just been accepted and signed by Trimble. It is available now at the Extension Warehouse and on github. The signed extension can simply be updated from the Update button from within OpenCutList, but remember to restart SketchUp!

This release required a tremendous effort to overcome the limitations of SketchUp, but paves the way to OpenCutList for further work in the direction of CNC, laser-cutting or other fields where precise SVG/DXF data is required.

Discover the new hot features in the following short video or get more details here.

Special thanks to all our contributors for their financial support.

We would also like to thank the translator team for making it possible to offer OpenCutList many languages. Although not all languages of the previous version are currently available, we will release an update as soon as the translations will be available.

Happy woodworking!

Good afternoon! Is there a function to change the details of the product on the cutting map? For example, I need two parts to be located side by side on the cutting map to preserve the texture of the material. If so, how can this be done. Thanks

Hi,

Currently no such function has been implemented. We have not yet found a clever way of connecting the parts in SketchUp (sideways, top-bottom, with or without gaps) without a "hack".

Есть программа раскроя Cutting для раскроя ЛДСП. Возможно пригодится для дальнейшей разработки, она имеет такую функцию. Спасибо за ответ.

Respect
One question. Is there an option when we work with a plate that has grooves and is oriented in one direction and when we generate a cutting list in Cutting Diagram, that some parts whose direction of orientation does not matter to us during generation in the cutting list can count in any direction orientations and some parts to keep the direction of orientation that is important to us.
I hope you will understand what it is all about
greetings Mickey

Good afternoon. Is it possible to add functionality in one of the next updates, assigning labels to a group with different materials inside, highlighting all the materials of the group at once with one tick? For example, if you take a kitchen module, it usually consists of DSP HDF and MDF. When there are a lot of such cases, I put labels on the materials of each module, for the assemblers. Inside each module, you have to manually select the materials of individual groups in turn and put a label on them. Thank you very much in advance.

I would like to see a function where by I can remove materials in bulk that aren't being used in my specific drawing.
