Thank you for your generosity!

Today is a Big Day! We have reached our financial goal for version 3.0.0, because you made it possible!

The generosity and support of all 502 contributors, small or large, has helped achieve our goal in a short time.

Thanks to you, OpenCutList will be better than ever because we have more time to devote to writing its documentation and developing some awaited new features like:
  • Adding Parts Number or Name identifier option on cutting diagrams
  • Adding Sketchup Description for parts
  • Adding a global option to disable mirrored part detection
We will keep you informed of our progress and give the boldest among you the possibility to test them.

Thank you MC 😊

The question of grain orientation is simplified because OpenCutList always represents grain direction along the length on cutting diagram and therefore horizontally on the screen.

Hello dear developers,
Congrats on reaching your goal necessary for further development for OpenCutList addon.
If it`s possible, can you please add some features that will further improve the app, such as like:
- adding visual representation for different types of edge bandings on the cutting diagram (ex: on the same piece if we have a different edge banding for the length then the width, maybe adding a jigsaw line or smth like that).
- adding a feature that allows you to modify the cutting diagram. Maybe a drag and drop from a sheet to another, or maybe rotate some pieces.

Thank you for your work on this project! It`s an amazing app.

Hi I.N.,

Thank you for your feedbacks !

adding visual representation for different types of edge bandings on the cutting diagram
This can be done through Labels or in the cut list table under the cutting diagram.

adding a feature that allows you to modify the cutting diagram.
Sorry but our goal through OpenCutList is to have a global system that can regenerate the exact same cutting diagram each time we need it. Moving part will break the useful feature.

Boris
