Hello everybody! We work with people with all kinds of financial situations, and in order to make our funds more accessible to our neighbors without bank accounts, we are applying to the Open Collective Foundation Cash Assistance Program. This will allow Lemonaid volunteers with bank accounts to be reimbursed for cash withdrawls to aid our neighbors without access to a bank for payouts from Open Collective. We often get requests for cash for medication, taxis, and other cost of living expenses from our unhoused neighbors without bank accounts, and we want to fulfill these requests in order to support all of peoples' needs, not just food. We hope this program can make our work more impactful for all of our neighbors!
