About

Welcome to the Loathers Scripting Collective. We are a group of coders who play and contribute to a long-running browser game, the Kingdom of Loathing. This OpenCollective exists in order to fund our open source scripting projects that support KOL and its users. Across our large team of volunteer coders, we maintain a variety of free community tools and resources. Many of our tools require backend hosting and small fiscal support. This OpenCollective will be used to facilitate that!

Specifically, we envision it being used for hosting costs, server costs, and other Loathers expenses as necessary. We promise to always be fully transparent about how we use our funds, and ensure we actively engage our community as we continue to build out our open source community resources.
