2021 was a year of many transitions for the M4BL Money Pot; our team welcomed several new activists and organizers with the goal of making the M4BL DC- Money Pot more accessible. We also had to contend with the changing rules for awarding cash assistance on Open Collective which led to a longer than expected pause in our giving. 

However, through the hard work of the new members of the Money Pot and some creative brainstorming with the folks at Open Collective, we are excited to reopen the Money Pot in a way that reduces the burden of applying for community organizers and allows us to operate within the framework of our principles.
