Keeping it online is not.<br /></strong><br /></div><div>Running the project costs about <strong>€40 (~$[45]) per month</strong>: </div><ul><li><strong>€37: one </strong><a href="https://opencollective.com/redirect?url=https%3A%2F%2Fsignup.upcloud.com%2F%3Fpromo%3D8R7472"><strong>UpCloud VPS</strong></a><strong>.</strong> It runs everything: the homepage, the docs, the feature request board, and the test environment where every release is checked against real Plex, Jellyfin and Emby setups before it reaches you.</li><li><strong>€3: the maintainerr.info domain and services,</strong> registered at cost through Cloudflare.</li></ul><div> <br /><strong>Maintainerr has probably already paid for itself.</strong> NAS drives currently cost around €40–50 per terabyte. Every terabyte Maintainerr clears is disk you don't have to buy. At today's prices, <strong>one reclaimed terabyte is worth about a year as a Backer.</strong> If it has saved you a drive upgrade, consider giving a small part of that back.<br /> <br /><strong>12 people giving $5/month covers everything,</strong> including fees. Until then the maintainers pay out of pocket. We intend to keep Maintainerr online either way, but community funding is what makes that a certainty instead of a hope.<br /> <br />Every cent goes to infrastructure. Nobody is paid.
