Sponsors Update - June 2023
Published on July 7, 2023 by Ruth Cheesley

Hello awesome supporters of Mautic!

What a month it has been, with Mautic Conference Global wrapping up two days of learning, networking and sharing with Mauticians from around the world!

The event was a great success and has raised a substantial amount for the Mautic Community - so thank you to everyone who sponsored, attended, spoke at or volunteered for the event.

I always find that I am so inspired when I come away from gatherings of Mauticians, and we have a couple more events coming up including our Mautic Developer Days and Community Sprint in Vienna (and online, if you can’t make it in-person) toward the end of the month.

We have our first in-person Mautic Meetup since Covid getting underway this weekend in Lagos, Nigeria, and there will be our first ever MautiCamp event happening in Nigeria in October. I’m excited to see a resurgence in meetup groups getting up and running both in-person and virtually. It’s a great way to spread the word about Mautic and connect with other Mauticians - why not start one yourself? Read more about that here.

We’re also organising a community sprint in Lille towards the end of October - more information about that will be coming soon.

We had the long-awaited release of Mautic 5.0 alpha this month - by far one of the biggest volumes of work that has happened in Mautic’s history. Read about some of the stats in John Linhart’s Twitter thread. I can’t begin to tell you how much work has gone into this release - we do need your help with testing it so that we can snag any bugs. Read more here about how to help with testing in the browser!

Without your support much of this project would not have happened, as a large part of the development work to refactor our user interface from the deprecated PHP templates to Twig was funded by the community and sponsors, so a huge thank you for your ongoing support!

We have a lot happening when it comes to the governance model which has now been finalised and is in the process of being formally adopted by the existing Community Council. We’ll soon begin implementing the tooling, workflows and organising our first General Assembly and elections. Watch this space for updates!

Thank you again for your support, it really is helping to change lives all over the world!
