There is no doubt that the COVID-19 pandemic affects us all, but its effects are disproportionate. Families in need and food service workers have been hugely impacted by this crisis. Along with many other initiatives around the country, we have figured out a great way to support both these groups. 

We will be accepting (tax-deductible!) donations through this site. 100% of the funds raised (~97% after fees), will be used to purchase meals from local restaurants and deliver them to shelters for the homeless and other community organizations. We recognize and appreciate the employees of popular restaurant chains in the area, but we want to focus on smaller/family-run businesses that do not have the same support. Open Collective is unique in that it allows for complete transparency in showing exactly where the money is going.
