Save money

About

Unleash the Power of Collective Food Buying!

Looking for a way to save money on your grocery bills while also building a stronger, more resilient community? Consider starting a buying food co-op with your friends and neighbours! Our innovative food co-op model is designed to empower Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) communities by providing access to high-quality groceries at significantly reduced prices.

Here's how it works: you and a group of friends will pool your resources to order your groceries directly from wholesalers we have sourced for you. Our online transparent platform makes it easy for members to submit their grocery lists, manage orders, and process payments directly to the supplier.

Each group's unique page will allow complete transparency and accountability throughout the process.

Every Wednesday the group’s collective food order is checked, confirmed, and submitted online through this platform. All members of the group will be able to see all stages of the process: order, payment and delivery. Every Monday the order will be delivered to a member of your group after which each member will receive their order.

The platform tracks the money collected, orders placed, and payments made to the wholesalers, making it easy for members to see where their money is going.

In addition to the cost savings, our model includes a contingency fund to cover delivery costs and support families in need within their group each week. Our team carefully assesses each family's needs to ensure that support goes to those who need it most, reinforcing the community-led ethos of our model and ensuring that everyone benefits from the collective efforts of the group.

By starting a buying food co-op, you'll not only save money on your grocery bills but also build a stronger, more resilient community. You'll have the opportunity to meet new people, make new friends, and support one another through the power of bulk buying. So why not join us on this journey and be part of the change we want to see in our communities?
