A little bit more about me: I’ve been identifying as a social transformationist, though I also love transformational practices for my inner and relational work as well.
I’m a native of the Blue Ridge mountains of Western NC and I measure the quality of my summer by the number of times I get to swim in natural bodies water.

As co-founder of the Regenerative Governance Project I serve as a trainer and facilitator specializing in the living practices through which groups learn to weave their separate streams of action into coordinated, life-giving wholes.
Today I work with leaders and networks building bioregional resilience — food systems, watershed coalitions, cooperative enterprises, post-disaster recovery networks, and place-based regenerative initiatives. I offer:
- Consent-Based Decision-Making training — so your network can make real decisions without suppressing dissent or stalling indefinitely
- NVC (Nonviolent Communication) for organizational culture — building the relational infrastructure that builds trust and makes collaboration durable
- Convergent Facilitation — for complex, high-stakes decisions where different perspectives need to reach genuine agreement
- Open Space Technology — for convening self-organizing community engagement that surfaces what people actually care about
- Prosocial facilitation — for groups ready to turn good intentions into genuine cooperation, cohesion, and shared purpose
As co-founder of circleforward.us , I serve as a governance guide to collaborative initiatives aimed at systems change.
Via my work as a celebrant, someone who specializes in ceremonies, I create personal ceremonies for life transitions, such as wedding, memorials, community rituals and the like. Ashevillecelebrant.com
