About
Come together with us for an unforgettable evening in the Bay dedicated to supporting the Mothers of Sumud (MOS) Garden, a powerful initiative led by Palestinian women and youth in the South Hebron Hills, generously hosted by Planting Justice.
The MOS Garden is not just a garden—it’s a beacon of hope and resilience in an area of the West Bank where communities are facing daily threats of displacement and destruction under military occupation. This garden has been destroyed multiple times, yet the caretakers of the garden persist, planting again and again as a testament to their unwavering commitment to their land, their children, and their future.
The evening will feature a delightful grape tasting experience from Planting Justice, celebrating the rich agricultural traditions of Palestine, live music, and delicious food and drink. We will also have time to learn more about the MOS Garden's story and how to plant solidarity, from the Bay to the West Bank.
Sumud, meaning “steadfastness” in Arabic, is at the heart of this project. By supporting the MOS Garden, you are standing in solidarity with a community that refuses to give up, despite the incredible obstacles they face. Your participation will help us raise critical funds to rebuild and expand the MOS Garden, ensuring that it continues to be a space of healing, empowerment, and connection for generations to come.
