Bring your Energy offerings -- break into groups, facilitate, cogitate, and solve problems. Tables available. Examples: Host a session on DIY Wind Turbines
11:00am - 12:00pm Session 2
Bring your Energy offerings -- break into groups, facilitate, cogitate, and solve problems.
12:30pm: Arrival and Registration AFTERNOON FEST EVENT
13:00pm - 13:30pm: Introduction to MECC/MEC Initiatives
Highlight the Battery Build Day events. Introduction to the Microgrid concept.
13:30pm - 14:00pm: Break/Networking
Food truck and drinks avail giving attendees a chance to network, discuss the presentations, and interact with MECC members.
14:00pm - 15:00 pm: Panel Discussion: The Future of Energy in Cape Town,
Panelists include local energy experts, MECC members, and possibly representatives from civil society and other local institutions.
Discussion about energy alternatives, innovations, and the community's role in implementing change.
15:00- 15:30 pm: Demonstration of Microgrid Battery Prototypes
An interactive session where attendees can see prototypes of the proposed solutions
These are modest DIY projects.
15:30pm - 16:00pm: How to Get Involved
Explanation of ways to support MECC.
Introducing MuizenGPT and the role of technology in the energy crisis solution.
Announcement of the crowdfunding campaign.
End of the Event at 16:00pm
