Dear neighbours,

It’s that time of year again and the Newham Solidarity Fund team and our accounting service will be taking a break over the holiday period.  This means the normal schedule of payments will change for the next two weeks.

Due to a generous gift last month 🥰 we have paid out December payments earlier this week! Any final December payments (for new applicants only) will be made on Tuesday 24 December. Payments will then pause until after 2 January 2025.

We know that times are still very difficult for people financially. Our list of additional support neighbours may be able to access is still up to date and you can find some links below:

Please continue to promote the Newham Solidarity Fund to others who may need it, or who may be able to contribute. The support and solidarity of our community is what keeps us going and has helped us raise and redistribute almost £60,000 since we first opened in October 2020!

The prints were designed by local artists Maryam Huq (@vividbymaryam on Instagram) and Nish Plaha (@nishdesigns on Instagram) and funded by a grant from our accounting service the Social Change Nest. All proceeds from the sales of the merchandise go straight into the Fund.
