Nifty Automotive Know-How (formerly named Engine R&R Livestream)
COLLECTIVE
Fiscal Host: Open Collective Foundation
A fantastic collection of uncommon automotive knowledge and skills, that everyone needs.

About
I, Joseph Truax, teach a free class to teenagers on how to remove and replace bad engines in cars. Although fulfilling, I have a lot of knowledge that I want to share to more than just teenagers. So Engine R&R Livestream will be a project of the newly rebranded Nifty Automotive Know-How alongside 4 other projects that teach automotive skills as well; Women's Rides, Neurodivergent Mechanics, Drivers Edumechanics and Public Library Classes.
We now have a TikTok channel with almost a million views as well:

I believe that everyone should have all the juicy tidbits of knowledge that I have accumulated over the years. As a neurodivergent mechanic myself, I find great joy in finding answers to questions that most people do not think to ask. I scour the internet for knowledge in the form of tips, tricks, secrets, procedures, and critical thinking and reasoning skills that, when applied, save countless hours and dollars. I love teaching these things to others so that they don't have to do the research themselves.
Please check out the individual projects below to learn more about each and to help each demographic get access to this information. These classes are all intended to be taught in person and all I want to do is go from city to city teaching as much as possible so that others feel empowered to work on their own vehicles. And, if nothing else, at least they will understand what the mechanic is saying when the mechanic explains what they need. These classes protect people against misinformation, being the target of predators, and knowing what you can do by yourself to save a great deal of time, aggravation and money.
