Our kaupapa is around reviving and empowering Vagahau Niue, as it is a statistic in Nz as a dying language. Our contribution to continue reviving Vagahau Niue is through Arts and crafts, by sharing the goodness with Niue with our Niue community. However our doors are open to all 

My name is Maryanne Lapana, I share lead in this group with my cousin Margaret Jackson, as we started this group. We were a bunch of cuzzies who love NIUE, LOVE our family and culture. So instead of sitting back and talking about it we are taking action to uphold Vagahau Niue through arts and crafts. 

There is myself, and my cousin who share a co shared leadership. My aunty as a committee member and we have a cultural advisory group to ensure we are doing things correctly as Niue. We make sure to keep up with the original traditions, values and beliefs of our culture by checking in with our matua and magafaoa/family. 

Background:
We are a bunch of cousins who love our heritage and culture - NIUE! We are continuing the work our family and ancestors have paved a way for and continuing to serve in our community by sharing and speaking Vagahau Niue and teaching in our community the best we can
