In-Lab Testing Update: NPR-H 2.0 Modem Performance
Published on January 12, 2025 by Watchara Amasiri

We’re thrilled to share the progress of our project as we advance toward resilient communication solutions. The NPR-H 2.0 modem (link) has successfully passed in-lab testing with impressive results. Here are the key details:
  • Powerful Output:
    • 7 Watts of NPR-H 2.0 transmission power.
    • Paired with a 30-Watt UHF TDMA RF Amplifier, enhancing signal reach and stability.
  • Optimized Directionality: Deployed 7-element Yagi antennas on both sides, ensuring a focused and efficient link.
  • High-Speed Data: Achieved a consistent transmission speed of 430 kbps, demonstrating its capability for high-speed communication in emergency scenarios.
  • Field-Test Ready: The setup is now prepared for deployment in real-world field tests to validate its practical performance under various conditions.
This breakthrough moves us closer to deploying a robust communication network for disaster response and remote area connectivity. Your support is vital in making this vision a reality.
Stay tuned for updates from our upcoming field tests! Thank you for being part of this journey.
