New Packet Radio Training Preparation at Doi Tung Royal Villa, Chiang Rai
Published on December 14, 2024 by Watchara Amasiri
I recently traveled to the Doi Tung Royal Villa in Chiang Rai to explore and assess the area for hosting a training program on New Packet Radio (NPR) technology. The serene and picturesque landscape of the region, surrounded by lush greenery and mountainous terrain, offers an ideal setting for this initiative.
The training aims to enhance local knowledge and skills in utilizing NPR technology for disaster communication networks, particularly in rural and mountainous areas where traditional communication systems are often unreliable. The visit allowed me to study the feasibility of the location and to ensure it aligns with the goals of the project, emphasizing practical hands-on experiences for participants.
This training is part of our broader mission to develop resilient communication networks in Thailand, leveraging cutting-edge technologies like New Packet Radio to empower communities and volunteer groups in times of crisis.
Stay tuned for updates as we move closer to implementing this exciting program!
