We’re excited to share the latest developments in our "New Packet Radio and Go Box Deployment in Thailand" project. With your support, we've been able to take significant steps forward, equipping ourselves with essential gear to bring resilient communication solutions to communities in need.
Here are some highlights of our recent purchases:
- Foldable UHF Yagi High Gain Antennas (400-470MHz): These high-gain antennas are key to extending our radio network’s reach, particularly in remote and mountainous areas. By deploying multiple units, we can ensure reliable connectivity across vast distances, a critical feature for emergency communications.
- Double Shielded RF Connectors (SMA Male to Female, RG142): To maintain signal quality and system reliability, we’ve invested in top-quality connectors that are durable and resistant to interference. These connectors will facilitate versatile configurations in our New Packet Radio setups.
- Transmitter Cooling Back Frames: For effective operation during intense field use, we are incorporating these cooling systems to prevent overheating of our transmitters, especially given the tropical conditions in Thailand.
- LifePO4 Batteries (12V 100Ah): Portable and powerful, these batteries will ensure our Go Boxes remain operational even when grid power is unavailable. Their capacity is sufficient to support extended deployment, critical for prolonged emergency response situations.
This equipment will empower us to deploy New Packet Radio and Go Box systems that can offer reliable communication links during natural disasters, including wildfires and floods. These systems not only bring connectivity but also facilitate real-time data transfer essential for effective disaster management.
We’re grateful to all our supporters for enabling us to take this project from concept to reality. Your contributions are driving real impact, empowering communities with communication tools to improve resilience and response. Stay tuned for further updates as we conduct training sessions, field tests, and deployments across Thailand.
Warm regards,
