Private Screening of ‘Still Here’ (NSSC’s New Documentary on Suicide Prevention)

For those still here, there is still hope...

In a space filled with noise, there are those who walk unheard and unseen, who struggle with their health and who slip through cracks of a system that doesn’t serve them. There are those who grow tired of walking this walk, who are exhausted by all the talk, and who lose all hope and take their lives.

In a space vacant with loss, there is a need here… to cry here, to shout out here, and to share stories for all to hear. As we look back at who we’ve lost, we look forward to who we can save… There is still hope for those still here.

Scheduled to be released to the general public on November 19th in honor of International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day, 'Still Here' is a documentary to drive needed change and save those still here.

It is our hope that ‘Still Here’ by Accelerating Social Good in partnership with AwarenessTies will drive both awareness and funds for our organization.

On our campaign landing page, you can also watch the four individual stories of suicide loss, one of determination and one of hope from our NSSC coalition members, Jerri Clark, Ronni Martorello, Kimberly Brouillette, Jack Wood, Kerry Martin, and volunteer Hallie Twomey that have already been shared to the public:

To help us have these stories seen and heard, please share the individual user stories that most resonate with you in your social channels. Don’t let the stories of Calvin, Danny, Kelsey Rose, CJ, Jonathan and Kerry be silenced.

On November 19, International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day, we will be sharing the Still Here documentary to general public across all of our social channels. Please consider also sharing whether on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter to help us both raise awareness about suicide and raise funds for prevention. And, when you repost, consider sharing why you are a member of NSSC and why you support the Still Here campaign. Testimonials from our own members will go a long way to encouraging others to lean in, listen and support.

For those still here, there is still hope. Let’s give it to them. We hope you will consider a donation to the National Shattering Silence Coalition today.

Let’s not allow anymore to silently slip away. Please make a donation here:

With gratitude and hope.

Jeanne Gore, Coordinator

PS I would also like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Jerri Clark, Ronni Martorello, Kimberly Brouillette, Jack Wood, Hallie Twomey, and our pro-bono strategic advisor, Kerry Martin, for bravely sharing their stories in our suicide awareness and prevention campaign. And, also special thanks to Accelerating Social Good and their partner, AwarenessTies and Co-founder Allie McGuire, for co-creating and producing the “Still Here” suicide prevention campaign on our behalf.
