Nov 2022 meetup
Published on January 23, 2023 by Dan Katz

Our inaugural meetup couldn't have been more exciting. Adobe hosted and sponsored the event, which was well attended by ~45 C++ enthusiasts. Thanks to Adobe, our guests enjoyed delicious salads and sandwiches from Alidoro.

Dan Katz, one of NYC++'s Lead Organizers, gave a short talk on the meetup's raison dêtre.

Dan then introduced David Sankel from Adobe, the invited speaker for the evening, who gave an awesome new talk on compiler optimization.

David finished with some speculation on how compiler optimization might next evolve, based on ongoing development trends within the Linux kernel.
