OCNZ has recently completed a GST period, meaning we were able to claim back GST on behalf of Collectives and refund it to their budgets. Claiming back GST is a great benefit offered by OCNZ. It's like things are 15% cheaper, and you don't have to do any accounting!
We can only claim GST back for expenses invoiced to OCNZ, not reimbursements. Especially for larger expenses, it's worth it to invite the vendor or service provider you want to pay to submit their expense to your Collective, so we can pay them directly, instead of you paying and submitting the receipt after.
If you are owed a GST refund from the first half of this year, it's already in your budget.
