The OldTools Mailing List has been around since the late 90s and was created as a place for people interested in old woodworking tools and traditional woodworking to discuss these subjects and keep old traditions alive. The Archive that is associated with the List maintains this knowledge for members and the public.

This collective is for maintaining the List on a commercial email list provider. The List was originally hosted by the Cornell Law School, then privately hosted by list member Chris Swingley, and will soon transition to a commercial email provider. In order to make that happen, and for the List to continue long term, we need a way to pay for it.
