1 2 HEART U, and you, and you, and you, and you
Published on December 22, 2022 by Brian Orsi

What a year!

2022 was all about building off the very good vibes from year 1.

And we really went for it.

Through corporate supporters, we raised over $10,000.
Our print, online, and day of marketing initiatives showcased our corporate supporters, putting them in front of tens of thousands of eyes.
We thank them for their generous support.

We brought in dozens of individual donations from attendees. The Scene would not exist without your support, energy, and love. You are the reason we're doing this. Thank you.

Between the summer music series and fall festival, we gave over 20 artists a space to perform and connect with their peers on both sides of the stage.
We featured more female and LGTBQ artists than any other similar organization in the region, lifting up their voices and showcasing their talents.

We brought out full, vibrant, diverse crowds- families, little ones, old and young, locals and folks coming up from NYC and farther.

We not only raised enough money to produce our events and pay our artists, we also were able to purchase our own full PA system, and can now produce events whenever, wherever.

And we did all this while having a very good time.
The high fives and hugs alone are worth it.

In the coming months, we'll be compiling photos and footage from the last two years. Keep an eye on our Instagram and site for updates.
We're working on our 2023 programming, and might even have some excellent news later this winter.

We can't wait to see you all again.

As many of you know, our ultimate goal is to open an art space in the Hudson Valley, one that serves artists and builds sustaining community.
As our resources grow, so can the scope of our capabilities. We want to have more shows. We want to get real weird, and incorporate other mediums into our performances. We want to teach and nurture the next generation of musicians, engineers, artists, and producers.

And we can! With your continued support.
The fiscal year is ending soon. Please, consider making a yearend donation to our collective via the Open Collective Foundation, a 501c3. It is their mission to support our mission, and their structure allows us to, dollar for dollar, devote more resources to our programming and directly to artists than other, similar organizations.

The more you give, the more we're able to give back.

(And who doesn't love the tax break?)

Thank you again, and we'll see you soon.
