Unexpected changes to the Open Collective tipping model halted the rollout of our Community media pilot and open source service offering. Rather than confuse or mislead customers and supporters, we spent the majority of 2023 building capacity for OpenProducer (via additional team members and partners) and the Open Collective community. 

Upside is we not only have more core team members, partners, but now several programs and services planned for early 2024. 

While the Open Collective team has made 'some' improvements to the open source platform, we now have capacity to integrate, extend, and contribute. 

With capacity and control we'll be able to exceed 2023 goals and expectations exponentially going forward.
