About
IfcOpenShell comes with extensive support for IFC2X3 and IFC4 geometry items. Because Open CASCADE has excellent support for step entities (similar to IFC's original definitions) we are able to support these with relative ease.
The infrastructure geometry definitions are rather different (transition curves, separated 2d and vertical profiles, etc.) and need to be implemented from scratch.
