Supplies for houseless people in our community

As we move into winter, ORCA will be working with our friends The Lockon and Cambridge Community Kitchen to make sure we have warm winter supplies ready for unhoused people in our community. We're doing this because we often find that people come to these groups for warm clothes and supplies, and we want to be more organised and ready to help this year. 

We’re expecting to focus on providing waterproof coats, warm blankets, hygiene products, snacks and bags to keep things dry. We would love help in the form of:
- donations of money so we can buy nice new bags, foil blankets etc
- donations of warm clean (ideally new) hats, socks etc (home-crafted welcome!)
- donations of time to organise stuff and possibly pack things into bags
- thoughts and suggestions from anyone with experience
