About
What is Our Kilburn Table?
Our Kilburn Table is a local initiative to provide our community with free meals and groceries. The cost of living crisis is affecting us all. We want to make sure no one goes to bed hungry.
When? Every Friday, 7pm – 8.30pm (volunteers arrive 6.30pm)
Where? The corner of Kilburn High Road and Brondesbury Road, opposite Sainsburys
Where? The corner of Kilburn High Road and Brondesbury Road, opposite Sainsburys
Who can come to Our Kilburn Table? All welcome – no need for ID or a referral. Free food is given out on a first come, first served basis. We usually have over 100 guests, including young families, each week.
How you can help:
How you can help:
- Volunteer – new volunteers are welcome! Co-ordinators are needed. Weekly shifts are arranged through an online poll and a Whatsapp group - contact us for more information.
- Donate food – we always need fresh groceries, or items which keep well. Small donations are always welcome! If you’d like to donate homemade or fresh food, we’re interested! But as you can imagine, we have guidelines, please contact us first.
- Drive for us – we need drivers to help us collect food and move equipment. Many of our suppliers close before our table starts. We always need help to collect and briefly store donations for Friday during the latter part of the week. If you can help, or know someone who can, please do get in touch.
- Donate money or other resources – While we can’t easily take cash donations, there are always things we need – whether that’s a new table or a pint of milk, toiletries... If you’d like to donate, please let us know, and we’d be happy to discuss the options.
- If you’d like to help in a way that’s not listed above - we love new outlooks and always love to chat.
