Cambridge supports activists for action against arms for Israel

Our comrades are being threatened with prison and extortionate fines for a political action targeting a UK-based arms company as part of Palestine Action.

As people who are marginalised in multiple ways, we fear harsh retaliation by the courts for their actions. Even before the trial, our friends have been subject to police harassment. This includes confiscation of personal items by police breaking into their homes, surveillance through GPS tags on their ankles, and several further arrests due to technical malfunctioning of these devices. 

As a small solidarity group, we are committed to supporting them at every step before and during the trial. We need your help to make this possible. We wish to raise funds to cover legal and travel costs, as well as mental healthcare expenditure and loss of income incurred as a a cosequence of arrest. We want to ensure a strong community presence inside and outside the court by funding travel and accommodation for anybody who cannot afford to pay for this themselves. 

We are keeping our friends' identities private for their own safety following legal advice. They are all people who give so much love and care to their communities and beyond. Please join us in giving them love and solidarity in return.
