We exist to tell local stories that would otherwise
go untold — starting with the youth of the Central
Coast of California and the communities that raise them.
Our flagship project: a children's book honoring the
Pismo Black Bear, a yearling euthanized July 10, 2025,
after being struck by a vehicle near Pismo Beach, CA.
