Dear friends of People in Need,

Thank you for your generous donation both present and in the past, which enables the Food Bank ministry to continue to serve families in Zahle, Lebanon in time of tense regional conflicts and rising food prices. Because of your gifts of love, Fady, Sister Sarah, and Elias was able to distribute "special food baskets" today to 30 families in the Zahle area.

This "special food basket" includes fresh chickens and eggs for families to have nutritious ingredients to prepare the Christmas meal. We rejoice with everyone as we are able to physically embody the message of Christmas, to share Christ's incarnation and his self-giving love with humankind in the Nativity season. 

Also, we have wonderful reports regarding Grace's health. Thank you for praying for her. She had a successful operation for endometriosis at a local hospital last week, and has been resting at home. We thank God for your prayers. The surgery was a success. It means a lot to Fady and Grace that our donors are also praying for them.
