Food and Medical Aids for Syrian and Lebanese Families

During the Syrian civil war, many families, including Christians, fled to Lebanon. The UN and many NGOs work exclusively with people in the UN-sponsored encampments, most of the beneficiaries are Arab Muslims. On the other hand, Christian families were not welcomed and had to rent apartments, which makes them ineligible to receive UN aids.

The Lebanese currency has lost 80% of its value since 2020. The pandemic only deepens the misery. Many Christians lost their jobs or got paid with little wages. Therefore, many of them are now living under the poverty line.

We did our first fundraising and raised over $3500 in April 2021. We helped 170 families in need. The aids include food packages and helping pay for medical bills.
