About
Pi Fabric is an MIT-licensed, open-source tool and agent runtime for the Pi coding agent. It brings tools, Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, and multi-agent workflows into one programmable interface; so developers can build, run, and inspect their own agent workflows.
What we're building
• Programmable workflows using checked TypeScript or a sandboxed Python kernel.
• Integrations with Pi tools, MCP servers, and extension tools.
• Parallel workers, persistent agents, event-driven actors, and shared coordination.
• Guardrails for approvals, isolation, timeouts, concurrency, and cost budgets.
• A live terminal dashboard for understanding what is running and what it produces.
Why support Pi Fabric?
Your support helps sustain ongoing maintenance, bug fixes, documentation, integration testing, and reproducible evaluations. It also helps cover the infrastructure and model/API costs needed to test real agent workflows. A lot of the philosophies and concepts, and especially pi and pi-fabric itself, are used across a few organizations today.
This collective is a transparent way to support that work. Project funds and expenses are recorded on Open Collective, so supporters can see how contributions are used.
Get involved
Financial support is only one way to contribute. Try the project, report bugs, suggest improvements, improve the documentation, or contribute code.
