Together a bigger impact : Exciting next stage!
Published on September 26, 2023 by Jenny Ayrton

As a collective we've continued to work together, with all sorts of exciting off-shoot projects thanks to the first funding from POP. From a friendly smile and a wave when we meet at events, to teaming up to run activities and develop new projects. Over the last 6 months or so a theme has emerged in our conversations - how as small public-facing organisations we're often offered amazing opportunities to share our work at community events etc... but that none of us have the time or energy to be able to attend them all. So... we reapplied to POP to continue working together and to test out a way that we can be represented at more events, spreading the invitation to join in further.

POP have generously funded us to give this a try - each organisation will receive funding to attend a minimum of three events in / around Plymouth. We're in the process of putting together a simple up-cycled shared display which we can use to share information about all 7 organisations - a way to take our friends projects with us!

If you see us at events please come over to say hi and find out more!

It will be exciting to see where the “Together a bigger impact “ grab box turns up!

Plymouth Scrapstore will be attending the Sustainable Fashion week hub event this coming Sunday at Devonport Guildhall and taking the box along with them!

It’s a privilege to belong to a collaboration that really enjoys and makes the most of working together .. Watch out for what comes next ….
