About
Who are we?
The Post-growth Economics Network (PEN) is a collaboration platform for researchers working on topics around post-growth economics. Our mission is to create a space to collaborate, exchange ideas, share information, and foster higher visibility for research on post-growth economics throughout Europe and beyond. Ultimately, our aim is to connect post-growth economists to build a strong network that promotes post-growth ideas – backed by economics research – in policy, education, and wider society.
Find more information about us on our main website: https://www.postgrowtheconomics.org/
How do we use our funds? Where do our funds come from?
We use our funds to cover expenses directly related to the activities of our network. This includes maintaining our digital tools (website hosting and domain name, mailing list, etc.) and the organization of network events (including an annual General Assembly). Our network is funded exclusively with donations, public subsidies, and grants. The fund is managed fully transparently: a ledger of all incomes and expenses is publicly available under the "Budget" section of this page.

Who can make a donation?
Anyone can make a donation to the Post-growth Economics Network via the "Contribute" section of this page. Donations can be made via Credit Card, Paypal, or Electronic Bank Transfer. We prefer receiving donations via Credit Card or Paypal. You can make a one-time donation or set up an annual donation, with the amount of your choice. Donations are not tax-deductible.
Who can use the fund?
Any member of the Post-growth Economics Network can use the fund to cover expenses paid on behalf of the network. PEN members seeking reimbursement for expenses paid on behalf of the network first need appropriate authorization. Please get in touch with the coordination group for approval before you carry out payment. Note that a valid receipt is required to submit an expense.
