About
Pulse is a charity formed to take on some of the charitable aspects of Exeter Community Alliance's projects. Pulse does this by providing local groups with a physical hub to work from and fiscal hosting using the Open Collective platform (so that groups do not have to go through the rigmarole of setting up a bank account and registering a legal entity).
We are currently homeless but are bringing together some local contributors and philanthropists to fund purchasing our own property.
Climate Action Hub Exeter is a working name for the charity - it was our original name so we have kept it for continuity and transparency. It was chnaged because we felt it appeared to focus too much on one aspect of the polycrisis we face.
